anyway i got F7 (“start playback from current row” ImpulseTracker-stylee) to start the SBx reliably. tried to render selection or render song - this script had no effect on it. i THINK one crazy option would be to do a calculation of the resultant amount of pattern rows, and actually repeat the SBx stuff into a temporary pattern, use that for rendering and then wipe the pattern. but sounds like it’d be problematic to do if you’re already at 512 row pattern with SBx commands.
but for stuff like 64 row patterns with moderate amounts of SBx, it could maybe be pulled off.
frustrating that this isn’t native because of Dev Refusal / “Not Invented Here”.
d’you think i should try the “if you try to render, then loop it up into a temp pattern and render that” trick?
