UltraDAW: New daw with multitrack and tracker interfaces together

Judging by the screenshots, it looks like a very appealing piece of software. It must have been a tremendous amount of work to create. I suspect they’ve made it closed-source because they’re considering direct sales.
The fact that the only other source is Lua also suggests they’ve put serious thought into the design.
However, personally, I believe running closed-source software on my own system requires a certain amount of courage, as well as something to trust the developer—such as a track record, a reputation to uphold, or some form of implicit guarantee.
In the Windows and macOS ecosystems, there may not be many people who feel resistant to such things.
If you uploaded a demo screencast video to YouTube or somewhere similar, you might get more people to test it.

Yes, i agree. It’s always good to be careful. (I’m also that, that’s why i wanted to hear some voices about the software) And it does look like a very impressive software, he really must have some good programing skills. I just saw that the tracker is listed on kvr and there’s also a discussion going on in the kvr forum with the developer (in the host section) if anyone else is curious.

Hi. This is the developer of ultradaw. Active, of course  I’m still developing. I just ported it to Linux. If you’re interested in discussing it, head over to the kvr forum. The main thread is there.

“The fact that the only other source is Lua…” suggests just with gihub detecting some lua code in Ultradaw repo  there is a Lua tool to transfer renoise project to my app. And of course, there no sources. Coz it’s 6 years of my life to work on it. And i continue to work

Are there any demo tracks included? Last time I tried, I couldn’t get any sound out of it.

Not yet. I’ve no time to make it. Only Quick start guide - there detailed description to “get some sound from app”

Hi. There was a link to your site on the reddit sub. Unfortunately the page did not load. Is it down, or just a temporary disruption? Thanks in advance
