Did you know axolotl is actually a salamander. It is a species with somewhat broken genes. So it stays in its larval stage for it’s entire life, never going through the metamorphosis. It is possible to make it metamorphose by giving it some certain hormones. Then it becomes a salamander pretty similar to tiger salamander.
