<_<

…and at the end we make a Renoise Allstars track and sing along in a big choir. :)
No, I’m just kidding though I’m beginning to like the idea in a serious way :)
Anyways, I really enjoy this what’s-your-nationality-talk. I love the fact that the community is seemingly spread all over the world. We’ve got the power! :)

Before you even notice, the entire globe will be one huge renoisecratic country with Renoise devs in the government and registered users in the Parliament. :)

I’m from Poland by the way, just registered recently. :)

Born in Holland with a German identity because my parents thought they would move to germany after my birth (but they didn’t).
On my 18th I got the official Dutch identity for free!
Mam = dutch

ontopic:

ah… I´m from Germany btw

born in helsinki, finland. living at hyvinkää, finland since 1986

Stockholm, Sweden. Registered my copy of Renoise just about a month ago. I used Impulse Tracker when i was a tracker and trying to get smooth in FT2 stylee.

Other swedish Renoise users should visit #swe.electronique @ EFnet xD

I am from germany. I track since 1992 and started on Startrakker on Amiga. Then I used Octamed (still with 4 chn) and later I moved to the PC. There I used Whacker-Tracker and later X-Tracker. After that came FT2 and when Windows decided that DOS-Tools do not run anymore I moved to MPT. MPT became open source and I wrote some extensions for it (which are really extremely buggy and totally lame) to make editing easier for me.

Now I am using the Shareware-Version of Renoise. I haven’t registered yet, because I had to pay a lot of money for my car :) But registering will be my next step… I guess, my boss has to pay me more… Or I have to get famous very soon ;)

I’m from Israel
I’m 1/2 Morrocan, 1/4 Bulgarian and 1/4 Romanian, but I know all sides of my family originated from Spain hundreds of years ago!

I just came back from living in Chicago for a year and a half. I met only one tracker there, and I got him into renoise. Here I don’t know anyone who still uses trackers… There were allot of demoscene people but they all moved to Logic! Idiots :)

from Paris, France.

From the United Kingdom - County Durham in the North East part of the country.

First got into tracking in 1987 when I saw SoundTracker running on my friend’s Commodore Amiga. I had an Atari ST myself so I started using the SoundTracker clone NoiseTracker. Over the years I used NoiseTracker, TCB Tracker, ProTracker, Octalyser, probably a couple of others, too. As well as using things like ProTracker and OctaMed while visiting my Amiga buddies.

In 1995 I moved to PC and started using FastTracker 2. Experimented with ScreamTracker and ImpulseTracker but didn’t get very far with them. Also experimented with an AWE32/64 tracker which I don’t remember the name of (maybe Adlib Tracker?). Used MadTracker 2 for quite a while. Checked out Renoise when it was NoiseTrekker but thought it was still a bit too buggy to use permanently. Checked out Renoise again at version 1.26 and registered somewhere around 1.26/1.27. :)

Gone through quite a few trackers in my time, hehe. I’ve also very briefly checked out other applications such as Cubase and Logic, but they just don’t feel right after tracking for such a long time.

Dutch

Anyone keeping track on the statistics? :)
