I do a lot of recording inside Renoise, and these are small things that could be improved in my eyes.

to set a name for the recordings before recording like described here
the new numbering is neat, but if there was a text box in the ‘record box’ where you could write for instance “guitar” and this together with the numbering we have now it would result in “guitar 1”, “guitar 2” and so on. -
the ‘record box’ is now fixed to the sample editor.
when recording a lot of takes forces you to tab between the pattern editor and the sampler screen many times.
should be nice if the ‘record box’ could pop up no matter what screen you are on and drag it around. maybe a fine hotkey to summon it.
