I have only listened to many of the demos and some sound very good. There are many “FREE” vsts on this page that sound like they could have a lot of potential in our music.
I made an attempt to search for this URL in the forums so I am hoping it has not been shared.
Ok- this guy is rad!! 
The person who runs this sight has a short time to live (due to cancer complications I think), and as a result he is giving away massive amount of free samples and sample packs as well as reducing the prices on alot of other stuff (some of his larger libraries were around 130 usd and are now going for about 30 bucks), some are demos of larger but most are complete kits. There are gigs of well recorded samples (he records all his drums in 24 bit and then renders at 16, so they are clean high s/n organic drums and instruments), pads, orchestral libraries, fx, synthetic drums, record scratches and on and on. I’m suprised that is doing what he is doing this close to his death… chugging till the end- he still on boards just giving away his work and talking with people on forums. An awesome man. Found him on doa boards- he is highly appreciated wherever he goes, and his samples are tops. I hope he finds a way to overcome what he is going through and keeps the strength to deal with his situation. Very admirable- he could be whining and bitching and would have every right to. anyhow…

The Freesound Project is a collaborative database of Creative Commons licensed sounds. Meaning, people upload their stuff, from cats meowing to most anything you can think of, and allowing you to use them no charge. Not sure about professional releasing of music created with these samples, though… Still worth a checkout, nice lib!
