With all due respect, that’s complete bollocks. Do you really think we’d be so disrespectful and dishonest to our users, to use this kind of cheap, shitty tactic? Hopefully you have a little bit more faith in us than that.
OS X Mavericks came out, and many people suddenly experienced serious crashes with their plugins in Renoise. Once we understood the problem, it was a relatively quick and simple fix. So why shouldn’t we release a 2.8.2 bugfix update to help those people, if it was easy to do? Should we just leave them miserable and pissed off with a broken copy of Renoise 2.8? Obviously not.
You may want to back off, it is obvious that people are uptight about a release that “Is being worked on”
People are passionate about their chosen software and say silly things, a reply like yours comes across as very over the top and may even cause more negative speculation if the devs are that uptight />
By the way, it is pretty silly having a link to the forum rules in your signature that says not to use hard offensive language, which you did, not a good way to act as the developer of the app surely.

Renoise 3 is going to be an iPhone/iPad app that enables you to upload pictures to it and put glasses and a mustache on the faces btw. It’s going to be hilarious.
If someone tries to claim (or even hints) that we’re just teasing people with dreams of 3.0 in order to take their money, then of course I’m going to stand up and say something in our defense. I’ll repeat it again now just to be absolutely clear: such claims are complete bollocks.
If you’ve got a problem with anything I said earlier, well I’m sorry but that’s your problem, not mine. I haven’t directed any hateful speech towards hotensinus, I haven’t called him any offensive names or said anything negative about him personally. I simply replied to his statement in order to refute the false claim.
Does it really matter if I used a couple of mild swear words while doing so? Should I censor everything I say and only speak to you as some mindless corporate drone reading from a pre-made script; or should I speak to you like I would with anyone else in real life, openly and honestly, using the same language I use every day? Do you only want me to treat you like a faceless customer in our database, or as a real person and member of this community? (A community of which I am also a member, first and foremost.)
