Well, to just throw it right out, I think John McCain is the most evil man to accept his party’s nomination. I don’t trust him. I don’t like him. I don’t like the fact that he chose someone I feel is an extremist Christian as his running mate. In short, to me, the man has no redeeming qualities and furthermore I’m convinced he will, if elected, mire the U.S. in what will wind up being WWIII. That may sound a bit conspiracy theorist, but it’s how I feel. Again, I don’t trust the man.
Obama has 1 redeeming quality. He isn’t McCain. I don’t like or trust Obama either, but at least I’m convinced he’s not going to send our military into Iran.
Independent studies are commissioned all the time by lobbyists to prove their points… these produce “legitimate” statistics that are about as scientific as the drivel spouted by carnival tonic water salesmen. Shit throwing is still shit throwing.
Every vote in every election in every country around the world is a vote for the future of Earth. We need you to participate.
If that were the case, then the stats can be questioned like any other piece of scientific data.
It doesn’t really make a difference who funds it, if the statiscians do their job right. If they don’t do it right, opponents find data that contradicts their conclusions.
I’m sure every stat thrown around gets questioned. Have you ever watched Bill O’Reilly? The man consistently pulls stats out of his ass, never references them (other than “It was a government study! It’s been proven!”), and gets away with it because of that fact. Half of the politics game is played by the media, and the media is biased as fuck.
