you aren’t supposed to own studio monitors at home because they echo too much in a bedroom. you really need a large studio space or sound dampening for it to not look like you are using them to drown out the sound of a screaming child or infant, or house guest. its time to dump them in the garbage, as now the fbi and police have this info on record.
Just moved, finally a dedicated music space…
I second the “Jesus…”. Also, you might have also splurged on a bigger monitor Nice.
Edit: Also, +1 for the mixcube (if I’m seeing right). Those things are magical.
Recently I have updated my keyboard with pure analog sound generator:
This thread is so comfy. Keep them coming!
All right! My LEGENDARY studio:
Guess I have to look for a silver ultrawide monitor. Since parallel processing came into my world it’s not possible anymore having the matrix and enough tracks at a glance.
Cool. Do you use internal speakers?
Studio headphones and 30 years old common Hi-Fi speakers.
Digitone gang.
My studio is way too messy to show off right now, but I wanted to show you just one little part of it - my new black and white keycaps just arrived, and what better layout than Renoise’s for this gimmick?
What a beautiful keyboard !!Could you share a link where you bought it?
it’s not a studio. it’s a desk with laptop on it
All cheapo Aliexpress stuff, separate sellers, so there’s no real brand, but it was easy to tell from the pictures all the keycaps come from the same factory. The keyboard has Gateron blue switches, imitation Cherry MX - it’s kinda mediocre, I’ll replace it soon, all I really wanted were the keycaps.
Desk in corner of lounge doubles up for home working, speakers aren’t ideally placed and are there to double check stereo when I’ve done a lot in headphones.
The “Not Robotic desktop…the human desktop”
PS: Many Sound makers doesn’t know that trebles are very directives, apparently…
I know that 15 years ago…since a long time
Show me what you got.
