On the desk:

Access Virus TI Snow.
NI Maschine.
Akai Mpk mini for controling the virus.
M-Audio Fast track 8R Soundcard.
M-Audio Bx5 Monitors (I really need to invent a better stand than a broken paperbox! :) )

I love that synth. I’ve got the vanilla 2x and will never part with it–anniversary edition or not. Waldorf and Clavia sounds blend very well btw. Good minimalistic choices!

Surely it’s a work in progress but I’d suggest not keeping your power strip directly behind your studio monitors, in fact you’ll want to keep your audio cables as far away from AC cables as possible.

sorry I thought that was a blofeld, it’s a virus desktop. still a great choice. blofelds sound great but the OS leaves a lot to be desired…

I think the Ikea-ish chrome stands are the definition of ugly, but the gear is really nice :)

The white one is a Sammich FM, The one in the middle is a Shruthi1 and the Black one is the sammich SID. The Sammich FM is built around a OPL3 chip and it is SUPER fun and ultra well laid out. The menu system it so well planned. Wilba, Nils and TK did such a good job on it! It has surface mount soldering though which is a bit above my paygrade, I had to get someone to help me with it.

i got rid of my sammichFM recently. the menu was nigh on impossible to do any serious patch making i thought.

It was a practical solution, I don’t think they look that bad though (as long as the gear is in it).
