This is the second installment of Larynx <----follow link for previous comp
RETURN OF THE ESOPHAGUS
If you didn’t enter last time, the rules are simple.
You must make a song, using only renoise, with samples you make from your body.
Sing, Fart, Cry, Scream, Toot, Flap, Squidge…
Only Native effects. Only Reverb and Delay (make a distorted sound yourself).
Sounds must be relatively recognisable.
Dont be put off only having an inbuilt mic…i dont mind about quality of sound, just quality of song.
I set a theme in the last comp, but this time i wont…
Write in whatever genre you feel comfortable.

This was from my previous competition thread! Any entry from you is a good entry…
Although, i’ll say it’s not really what i’m looking for…
It needs to be clean recordings of sounds you make…no effecting them too heavily…just create the sound you want with your mouth!
Reverb and delay allowed so as to create a mood, and of course EQ allowed…

Stomping on the ground is an effect too seperated from your body…you’d be using the ground as an instrument…try hitting your chest while singing a tone to create a kick…
Cracking your back is good though :) as for slurping water…i like the sound of that so i’ll let that slide…you get what i mean though right?
The challenge is to try and create a Kick sound you want with your mouth or however else within the constraints of your body. And if you can’t use that sound the way you wanted to, then use it in a different way… The kick sound is MY main problem too.
The only instrument allowed that is seperate to your body, is another body…E.G punching your siblings in the gullet would be allowed. :panic:

Emulate the sound of a kick drum with your voice, but higher in pitch, then just play the sample at a lower rate and pump up the low frequencies in the eq.

Well, here is my example:

I did use Flange in this song, but only to give the sample more presence in the mix.
