That’d be great if this could somehow be implemented.
Plus being able to automate groove settings would be fantastic.

Yeps a reasonable desired update which has been brought to the surface multiple times…
Hello,
This might well be under the topic “change in speed concept” but I though It’d need a topic of its own.
Individual groove per track would be so mindblowing!!!
Have you guys tried the groove inside cubase? It is actually quite similar to that in renoise. You can hear the groove while playing with the settings and the song playing in the background, but it is not limited to all the tracks. You can have whatever groove on whatever track and change all the settings on the fly.
I think som…
Hey Renoisers,
I’m not an oldtime tracker so i am naturally somewhat uncomfortable with using the note-delay column (especially since i record most stuff with midi) and on the other hand i’m a bit unhappy with the current renoise song groove.
So here comes an idea that’s on my mind for a while now (basically stolen from guru’s shift graph):

Basically it would add a second note delay column, with a “shift graph” view (center would be straight on the beat). There should be a silder to …
Currently (v2.7.1) groove settings can only be applied to a song.
I would like to be able to apply groove settings to a desired track. (DSP form or so)
One of the reasons is that VST arpeggiators and trance gate effects can sometimes conflict with the applied groove settings. (Nexus VST for example)
This can be avoided if groove settings could be applied to the desired tracks only.
While we can achieve grooves by manually applying delays through the delay column/effect. I find this time co…
Is it currently possible to make a tiny little tool to just switch on/off the song’s groove settings using a pattern command or something? I see it’s one of the few non midi-mappable features, but this would be a huge help to me. The groove tool looks good, but a bit overkill for the simple task I want to perform.

F4XX in the pattern editor already works to switch on off the global groove settings.
Thanks dude! I need that pattern command cheat sheet on my desktop I think!
*I do feel a little dumb after having this for so long… I’m all over it now.
I FAVOR THIS IDEA HARDCORE.
