The browser seems like something that could detatch...

Am I the only person who would like to see the browser detach and become a floating window just like the Renoise Instr? We all know, “lots of floating windows, can be annoying.” but it just seems like, “with the amount of files, and folders these days,” there could be advantages to placing the browser in a detachable/dockable floating window setup…

Splitting Renoise Screens Into Seperate "Windows"

OK so sorry if this is obvious or already been asked, but is the there a way to separate different parts of Renoise into different screens/“windows”?? E.g. I’m running Renoise 2.1.8 on Mac OS X 10.6.8 (so obviously not ideal for multiple windows), but is there a way, with a dual-screen setup, to have the pattern editor on one screen and say, the mixer or the sample editor on different screen simultaneously (from the same version of Renoise)? Detached Pattern Matrix Window

My 3rd monitor is asking me to drop in the pattern grid full screen… since ux is greatly improved. feeling left out and all… just needed to share =) Very impressed with everything.

IDEA, is this possible in future Renoise?

This will never happen, due heavy complexity of GUI code, I guess. So save your energy. Personally I would be already happy with a detachable mixer + analyzer. And an effect, vst instrument, disk browser and renoise instrument browser all in one place. Currently we have 4 different tree views, it’s funny.

Detachable mixer. Please

If I had to select one easy improvment for the next version of renoise, this would be it : A detachable mixer window. For some reason, the sampler, the plugin, and the midi (??!!) windows are detachable, but what we all expect to have on a second screen is the mixer. Pliz. Thanks (add to this, hi-dpi support, multi-track recording, MPE support, and unlimited vst folders and you got an actually fully featured modern DAW)

It would be nice to detach windows such as the Instrument window and sample editor - ideal for if you have more than one monitor.
